Trackita transforms enterprises to improve their technology, processes and people. A small consultancy that ships real change inside Australian federal, state and local government — and publishes what we learn through YourGov.
Trackita is a small practice. The people you brief are the people who do the work and the people who hand back. No graduate pyramid, no offshore team hidden behind a partner.

I started Trackita after a decade inside large transformation programs.
Too many were strategy decks gathering dust while the citizen experience stayed broken. We do the opposite — small senior teams that ship a real prototype, hand it back to your team running, and leave the standard higher than we found it. Outside of Trackita I write at YourGov, run citizen-voice research, and keep an annoying interest in how procurement actually works inside the APS.

Amanda leads service design on our federal engagements — the practitioner inside the agency, not the partner on the deck.
A decade of service design and content design in regulated environments, with recent work spanning aged-care reform, federal regulatory transformation and citizen-voice research at scale. She runs co-design with public servants and citizens alike, and turns the messy middle of a discovery into a journey the team can ship. Comfortable inside DSS 2.0 environments and the procurement constraints that come with them.

Sue founded the Comcare agency as its first Director, and has spent her career in and around the federal departments in Canberra.
Sue's early work stood up Comcare — the Commonwealth work-health-and-safety and workers' compensation authority — as its first Director. From there she has worked across a wide range of Canberra-based federal departments, holding senior leadership and delivery roles that span workplace safety, government administration and regulator uplift. She brings deep familiarity with how APS agencies actually make decisions, how Treasury and central departments engage with new programs, and where the operational realities sit under the policy surface — the sort of insight that only comes from having done the job inside the machine.
LinkedIn →Trackita is an Australian innovation company that helps government and large enterprise turn strategy into reality through the right blend of people, process and technology.
Transformation arises from fostering relationships, building communities, and co-designing with an evidence-based user-science approach — not from constructing digital products in isolation. These are the principles we hold and the ones we test our own work against.
Services designed around life events, not organisational structures. A single digital front door with personalised guidance. The citizen, not the org chart, is the unit of analysis.
User science, behavioural evidence, qualitative depth and quantitative breadth. Every recommendation we make can be traced to a data point or a real user we spoke with.
AI anticipates needs before citizens ask. Compliance shifts from reactive enforcement to predictive risk management. Service design moves from reactive transaction to proactive guidance.
Hand-back is a first-class outcome, not an afterthought. We measure ourselves by what your team can do after we leave, not what we sold while we were there.
We hold the long view (the north-star service vision) while shipping the short wins (accessibility fixes, prototype services) that build internal confidence inside 90 days.
YourGov exists because the research that improves our consulting is also a public good. Where confidentiality allows, we put the field notes, frameworks and data on the open record.
Our default is a 13-week surge with a 1-week alignment up front, 12 weeks of focused delivery, and a structured hand-back. Surges chain together for longer programs with re-planning between each. We don't sign multi-year master agreements without a reason.
1 week of joint planning to lock scope, success criteria and stakeholders.
Weeks 2–5: rapid research, evidence gathering, quick accessibility & usability fixes.
Weeks 6–11: working prototypes, real users, integration with your team.
Week 12: documentation, training, capability uplift, defined ongoing support.
Full engagement detail with the four-pillar service map lives on our services page.

The primary route is through BuyICT — we hold two active DMP2 categories under the standing offer at the centre of Commonwealth ICT and digital procurement.
Individual specialists engaged on labour-hire terms — a service designer, a strategist, an engineer — under the DMP2 head agreement.
Our main panel. Outcome-based engagements for user research, service design, digital design and delivery — scoped SOWs from discovery to shipped product.
Available under Information Communications Technology Provider Arrangement, Defence Support Services Panel, AFP Capability Support Services, Work Health and Safety, Defence Innovation Science and Technology, Geospatial Goods and Services and the DMP2 Software Marketplace.
Whole-of-state marketplaces covering ICT, digital, professional services and consultancy for NSW, ACT and Queensland engagements.
Trackita is small by design. When an engagement needs scale or specialised capability we don't have in-house, we partner with a tight network of specialists. The accountability stays with us.
We hire senior people on permanent or contract, four- or five-day weeks, government clients only. If you have a decade of practice and don't want to deck-and-pitch your way through your career, talk to us.
Briefing call, partnership chat, careers conversation — whichever applies, 30 minutes, no pitch.
