    • 5 Steps to Create Your NFT

    These are the 5 steps so you can learn how to create a NFT quickly without cost by trying to create your first one. Once you understand how easy it is you can then work out the best approach and whether you want sell art, photographs, videos, domain names, trading cards, sports memoriabilia.

    The basic steps are:

    1. Identify digital photo on your computer that you own.
    2. Create Metamask wallet and open.
    3. Go to Opensea.io and select create.
    4. In Opensea.io, you can upload the photo that you own.
    5. Select sell. Your first NFT has been created.

    It is so easy. In detail, the 5 steps that can you set up an NFT without any cost and within an hour are:

    1. Grab a photograph that you would be happy to sell. Alternatively, go to Canva.com and quickly create a piece of digital art.
    2. Go to http://opensea.io/ in your browser. This is is your marketplace. Select Create at top. (I found it easier to go to opensea.io first)
    3. You will be asked to create an Ethereum wallet. To get started you can choose Metamask. You will be asked to install Metamask in your browser. Select “Install Metamask for xxx browser.” Once installed, you can create your Metamask wallet. Select “Lets get started”, Create New Wallet, enter password. Ensure you select “Secret Recovery Phase” and store the phrase where you won’t loose it. Its the only way to recover access to your wallet if you loose password. On confirm “Your confirm Your secret recovery phase” make sure you enter words in correct order – if make a mistake select go back and reselect.
    4. Now enter opensea.io and then select wallet icon in top right hand corner. Then connect. Ignore request to add funds. You are now in opensea. It should have “Unnamed” circle. Select “Create” menu at top. You can then upload your photograph. Add a name and descrilption and Create.
    5. You should see your photograph with “Edit” and “Sell” buttons. Select “Sell”. Add price and duration. Then “Complete listing. ”

    You have created your first NFT.

    Now you see how easy it is to create you can explore the type of wallet and marketplace you want to use.

    If you are happy with Opensea and Metamask then continue to set up your account. It is best to create a collection to sell.
